About Joyal Mulheron:
Joyal Mulheron is a public policy expert with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to bringing national attention to the profound effects of bereavement. Her mission became deeply personal after the heartbreaking losses of her infant daughter and father. In 2013, she transitioned from her role as chief strategy officer at Partnership for a Healthier America to focus on understanding and addressing grief in America. This journey led her to found Evermore, a nonprofit organization committed to improving the lives of grieving children and families and confronting the systemic challenges they face. Joyal holds degrees in biochemistry and English from Virginia Tech and a master’s in biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University.
