SUMMARY:Foundation Training Workshop: Trauma-Informed Yoga Facilitation - Part 1 with Jen Lindgren
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is intended for participants of PYP’s Foundational Training. If you would like to enroll in this training\, please visit the Foundational Training course description page. \n\nObjective: incorporate interoceptive cues and create agency when guiding an embodied yoga practice; develop a deeper understanding of trauma-informed sequencing and invitational cueing. \nThis workshop will review the foundations of our approach to trauma-informed yoga and discuss how more “mainstream” approaches can be adapted to be more trauma-informed. We will discuss cueing specific poses in a trauma-informed style\, focusing on interoception and agency. No prior yoga teaching experience is required for this workshop\, though the focus of this workshop is primarily intended for yoga facilitators.
