SUMMARY:Foundation Training Workshop: Experiencing Yoga and the Nervous System with Bill Brown
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is intended for participants of PYP’s Foundational Training. If you would like to enroll in this training\, please visit the Foundational Training course description page. \n\nObjective: learn how to communicate the function of the nervous system in an easy-to-understand and experiential way. \nThis workshop explores yoga practice as a set of tools that allow us to engage in a conversation with our nervous system. We’ll discuss the triune or three-part model of the brain and explore this through embodied experience. We’ll also practice communicating this in an accessible way as we would when offering practices in a prison\, jail\, or other similar settings. \nWe will send a reminder email with a link to the workshop the day before the event.
