SUMMARY:Foundation Training Workshop: Trauma-Informed Yoga Facilitation - Part 1 with Jen Lindgren
DESCRIPTION:This workshop is intended for participants of PYP’s Foundational Training. If you would like to enroll in this training\, please visit the Foundational Training course description page. \n\nObjective: incorporate interoceptive cues and create agency when guiding an embodied yoga practice; develop a deeper understanding of trauma-informed sequencing and invitational cueing. \nThis workshop will review the foundations of our approach to trauma-informed yoga and discuss how more “mainstream” approaches can be adapted to be more trauma-informed. We will discuss cueing specific poses in a trauma-informed style\, focusing on interoception and agency. No prior yoga teaching experience is required for this workshop\, though the focus of this workshop is primarily intended for yoga facilitators. \nWe will send a reminder email with a link to the workshop the day before the event.
