For those of you who prefer a printable or offline version—or if you've been experiencing any glitches or missing images in the online course platform—I'm happy to share that PDF copies of the full online learning modules are now available to download and use at your own pace.

These PDFs are essentially the hard-copy foundation of the online content, offering the same structure, reading material, prompts, and reflections. While the online version includes interactive elements, these documents can be a helpful companion for note-taking, printing, or simply staying oriented in your learning.

Let me know if you have any questions or if something feels unclear—we want to make sure you’re supported however you engage with the material.

Hi Everyone,

I hope this is okay - I created a NotebookLM AI tool for engaging with the course material that I'd like to share with you all. Sorry to bring AI into this but, for better or worse, I work in tech and thought it might be helpful! You can access it here: https://notebooklm.google.com/notebook/625f1957-942b-45f2-9fb0-00818c68fcff?authuser=2

I added all of the module PDFs as source material. You can ask questions and interact in the Chat section, or you can have it create all kinds of supplemental learning materials based on the PDFs like a podcast-style audio overview, flashcards, quizzes, etc. On the left side of the page you can select which modules to include in these interactions using the checkboxes (it's "select all" by default but you can choose to focus on just one module at a time).

Let me know if you have any questions and if this is helpful!

Hi Emma, Thank you for creating the pdf. I think this is a great resource. I have a question for you...more of a tech question really (I am not very tech savvy:)) I am trying to figure out how to create/find  yoga posture cards which are culturally appropriate in terms of images with culturally sensitive clothing etc. (for refugees in Bangladesh). Is there a way AI can help create stick figure cards of postures that I need?

Hi Shaila,

In full transparency, Jen created the PDFs, I just uploaded them into NotebookLM to be able to use AI tools with the content. 🙂

AI could definitely help with creating the yoga pose cards in theory, but it may or may not be able to create something that aligns well with what you're looking for. I tried using https://gemini.google.com/ and entered the following prompt: "create a set of 10 yoga posture images for the most common yoga poses. make one separate image per pose with a simple line drawing of a figure doing the pose with the pose name in English and Sanskrit. ensure that the figures are in culturally sensitive clothing (e.g. for refugees in Bangladesh)." You can try that and see what you get, and then tweak the prompt as needed.

Hope that helps!

Jen/ classmates

I am somewhat confused on how the course material is organized.  Wondering how  "The online modules" ( ex: Lesson 5 topic 2) pair with this pdf of printable version/offline modules. I am not able to figure out how to use them in tandem with our live classes and with each other. How do I use all these 3 resources together? Can you please help clarify this for me?

@shailaja-akkgmail-com These PDFs should be a copy of the material provided in the online modules. Some prefer to view the content more as a document than as it displays on the online learning modules. I am happy to talk through this more and will look for any discrepancies in the material.
