I wanted to start of this reflection by saying that this group has deeply inspired me in my journey with working in criminal reform - every single person in this group has such a passion and drive for rehabilitation and it is truly inspiring! I’m really grateful Nicole joined us today to share her experience. One of the biggest takeaways for me was the importance of coming into this role with the awareness that we will face challenging behaviors as I have faced before while working in jails and that recognizing this ahead of time helps us stay grounded and intentional in how we respond.
