Morning All,
At yoga this past Saturday, my instructor introduced a pose I hadn't done before and, with a wry smile, called it Floorior 2. (My instructor admits that she didn't create this pose.)
We were in extended side-angle pose with one knee on the ground, and then she instructed us to move our upper body into Warrior 2, keeping our forward leg at a 90-degree angle and our rear leg in a kickstand position (out to the side).
I thought I could use this in the future to introduce Warrior 2 from the floor, concentrating on just the upper body, or a modification for students who may have balance issues doing a regular Warrior 2.
Enjoy!

Hi Frank! I also just did a class with a "floorior 2"!! I had the same thoughts, also excited to integrate this into my sequencing! We went from "floorior 2" >
grounded gate pose > grounded half moon! Cool and creative ways to introduce some otherwise pretty difficult asanas!
I love this! I didn't know this was the name of the posture. Thanks for sharing, Frank!
