Please note: you will be emailed a copy of this policy when you complete the acknowledgement for below.
I acknowledge that I am a volunteer with Prison Yoga Project (“PYP”) and that I have received, read, and understand the Volunteer Mileage Reimbursement Policy, above.
By signing below, I agree that:
- Mileage reimbursement is available only for approved travel directly related to my volunteer service with PYP.
- Mileage reimbursement will be approved when corresponding program attendance is submitted.
- Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS charitable mileage rate in effect at the time of travel.
- I am responsible for submitting accurate and complete mileage information through PYP’s designated reimbursement form.
- Mileage reimbursement is intended solely to offset allowable out-of-pocket expenses and does not constitute wages, stipends, or compensation, and does not create an employment relationship between the volunteer and PYP.
- Reimbursement requests are reviewed and processed within a reasonable timeframe, generally no later than one (1) month following approval.
- PYP reserves the right to deny reimbursement requests that do not comply with policy requirements.
I understand that mileage reimbursement is subject to policy guidelines and available organizational funds.
