Hi all,

I just realised that there was a lecture today even though I had it in my calendar and received the email from Jen. It completely went off my mind 🙁 and I am so sad because it was one that couldn't be recorded and the subject really interested me. I am currently reading a book The woman in the shamans body by Barbara Tedlock.

Have anyone that attended taken any notes and will be happy to share them or be open to have a chat about the session today?

Thank you in advance. 💜

Hey Oana,

These are just my personal notes, and I’m sure they’re incomplete because, for me, today was truly about presence... about sitting under Blair’s and Jen’s teaching. It was both moving and grounding, and I allowed myself to really be in the experience rather than focusing too much on capturing every detail.

Hope this helps!

Hello Oana! Hope you're all good! Also want to share an article that Blaire shared that is truly truly inspiring and filled with insights, if I'm not wrong, this was her first time and experience within the prison setting.

Much about these topics within this sharing from Blaire were touched upon in yesterdays lecture. Here are some of her words, so much to reflect and digest, so inspiring ...

"What good does my perception do if it is limited? Does a harmful perception cause a correction, right a wrong, or bring someone back from the dead?
To do this work, I have to wholeheartedly believe people can change. If you are someone that has ever tried to change fucking anything, frankly, you know it’s difficult. It does not mean it can’t be done. To do this work, I have to embody the belief that people can change and heal. I have to believe in their wholeness; I have to believe in their unconditional nature. This belief keeps me rooted in the work; everything else is a mirage." Blaire Embrey
