This week’s mindfulness activity invites you to bring awareness to your shoulders and hips. These major joints support our bodies and can often experience tension, discomfort, and fatigue. As you engage in the activities of your upcoming week, take time to notice the sensations within your shoulders and hips and begin to explore different movement, stretch, and rest options that support these joints. As we prepare to explore the Strength & Mobility section of trauma-informed sequencing, your personal insights into your shoulder and hip support may offer cues beneficial to those you will guide in practice.
