Hello there!
Catching up cause I didn't realize these spaces existed as part of attendance to stay connected with each week's lessons. So here I am!
First,
Jen, what a bummer about the state's lack of care in the true recovery of their inamtes. You have all the right to be frustrated with such an experience and it's also so inspiring to see how much you truly care for this program and the individuals that are a part of it. So thank you for that opening share!

What did you notice during the movement portion of the session, particularly around energetic awareness or your relationship to sequencing?
I notice that when I begin to raise the arms up above me or when circling them, it encourages energy to be built up in my upper body. I can feel the energy increasing through my shoulders and almost lifting me up without effort. I feel even more so when there is that pause between movement. Bending side to side allows brings energy up through the spine for me. And again, the pause is where I get to feel the energy more than the actual movement. I mean, I feel it during and during the pause, but much more during the pause. A porisitive energy force moving throught the body. 🙂
How did our discussion of Ahimsa invite you to think differently about non-harming — in your body, your teaching, or your interactions with others?
For me, this defintely opened me up to new perspectives and the understanding that each of us hold our own values of non-harm very close to our hearts. With that, I think it can be easy to attach emotion to some of the subjects covered during the discussion. For me, religion, is mos def a tough word but as I have gotten older, my views of religion have changed. What I notice with my own sharing though, is I attach spirtuality to my persona, then sometimes project my view of the world upon others, effectively casuing harm. So I have been very mindful as I move through my own journey to be supportive of everyone without needing to broadcast my own viewpoints--even if I think the world is just pure love. Lol.
Ultimately, I think as we begin to shake the distractions built upon us from society, we fall into a way of being that becomes naturally non-harmful to your self, others and ultimately all of existence. 🙂
Many blessings to everyone that shared in this class. 🙂
