I wanted to share something that might feel meaningful for those of you who’d like to experience group yoga therapy in real time. I’m currently facilitating two free weekly Group Yoga Therapy sessions through the My Vinyasa Practice Student Yoga Therapy Clinic, and thought some of you might want to join and experience how yoga therapy unfolds in practice.
🌙 Trauma Support Group — Thursdays, 9–10 AM PT
A gentle space to process and release trauma through grounding, nervous system regulation, and self-care tools for daily life. Together, we focus on resilience and empowerment.
🌿 Mood Support Group — Fridays, 10–11 AM PT
For those navigating depression or low mood. Each session includes a short check-in, guided practice, and integration tools to support steadiness, connection, and emotional balance.
These circles are part of my yoga therapy practicum — they’re completely separate from Prison Yoga Project, but deeply aligned with the trauma-informed principles we’ve been exploring in YTT. Jen kindly gave me permission to share this here so that anyone curious can experience yoga therapy in practice and see how it weaves together with what we’re learning in this program.
