James Fox Hosts Buddhist Chaplain on Death Row at San Quentin, Susan Shannon

We want to formally invite you to our Third Season of Prajna!

Prajna, our Founder Series, features Prison Yoga Project’s Founder, James Fox. For this entire season, we are welcoming a special guest Susan Shannon. Susan Shannon has been a student and practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism for over 45 years and has worked among diverse populations throughout her life. Most notably, she is the Buddhist Chaplain on Death Row at San Quentin State Prison in California. She founded the Buddhist Prison Ministry, which currently serves incarcerated people in every state.

In the first session of four, we will explore the topics of Self-Care, Energetic Protection, and Compassion Fatigue.
