Objective: incorporate interoceptive cues and create agency when guiding an embodied yoga practice.
This workshop will explore the foundations of our approach to trauma-informed yoga and how more “mainstream” approaches can be adapted to be more trauma-informed. We will discuss cueing specific poses in a trauma-informed style, focusing on interoception and agency. Participants will have an opportunity to practice this approach to cueing in small group breakout rooms. No prior yoga teaching experience is required for this workshop.
We will send a reminder email with a link to the workshop the day before the event.
