About this Workshop

Objective: learn to recognize trauma, including signs of vicarious trauma, in the context of incarceration; articulate a simple plan for establishing an energetic boundary.

This workshop reflects on the connection between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and future incarceration and the trauma experienced by incarcerated people and those who work in the system, including correctional officers, staff, and program providers. As a group, we will reflect on what it looks like to interact with an entire system imbued with trauma.

We will send a reminder email with a link to the workshop the day before the event.

Register for one of the workshop dates below. After attending the workshop, return to this course to complete your reflections.
