Hello my name is Betsy, and I’m an actor, UCB improviser and Yoga teacher living in New York City. I have wanted to do this training for quite some time, and have wanted to offer Yoga to those that are incarcerated, yet prior to the pandemic I was never able to fit another training in with my schedule and budget.

Now with more time available I’ve been able to deepen my teaching practice and part of this includes committing to doing a trauma informed training so that I might be able to better serve my students as well as eventually teaching in the Prison system or for organizations that work with communities dealing with trauma.

I love improvising, baking, and listening to podcasts on long walks.
